Symptoms of twisted spermatic cord
Sudden pain in the scrotum and pain is the most common symptom. The pain can be triggered in the night the patient to wake up. The pain may radiate to the groin and hips back. Touch testicular pain.
- The testicles twisted spermatic cord is usually located higher than the opposite side. Patients delay the scrotal skin swelling, bruising.
- Loss of scrotal skin reflex is a symptom of high specificity.
- Approximately 2% of patients can be twisted spermatic cord on both sides.
- Twisted spermatic cord can occur at any age but is most common in 10-30 years, most are 13-15 years. United States, the incidence of torsion of the spermatic cord in people under 25 years is about 1/4.000.
